About Glade Run:
Glade Run is a local, non-profit organization that serves children who suffer from mental health challengees and are often victims of abuse and neglect. At any given time, our Zelienople campus services over 300 children, ages 8 to 21, through residential treatment, group homes, and St. Stephen’s Lutheran Academy, our licensed private school. Please help spread the word to family and friends that Glade Run will be hosting Open House/Open Interviews at its Butler, Beaver Falls and Pittsburgh locations. Applicants should bring a resume and questions, and be ready to interview. Walk-ins welcome.

The first Family Fun Night was hosted at Glade Run’s Zelienople campus on Thursday, October 25th. The purpose of the event was to provide area families affected by autism an opportunity to network and enjoy a relaxed evening with dinner and social activities. Without a doubt, this goal was reached with 54 participants from 14 families all providing excellent feedback and all asking for more opportunities like this!

Participants will become familiar with the five essential components of reading to include: phonics, phonemic awareness, vocabulary, fluency, and comprehension. A thorough description of each essential reading component will be reviewed and individual reading strategies will be presented and integrated to encourage and promote the most fluent reading practice in students.
